Teal and Purple Handmade Batik Scarf in Organic Cotton - Longer Length

Ah the famous teal and purple combination. Each color is hand mixed - not a pre-packaged color! Nothing is measured, it's all done by eyeing the colors in the light of day. This one starts with a purple undertone and finishes with a mottled teal color.
This soft fabric was handwoven with organic cotton before I created the batik design. There are natural variations in the weave. My vigorous batik process ensures the strength of the fiber, which means you can machine was this.
For this scarf I turned the edges twice over, and sewed them closed with organic cotton thread before painting the design. I use pure beeswax and manually boil each piece clean before washing and drying.

Washing instructions: Machine wash is best, then tumbled dry low until damp and hang to dry to shape.
