Red Rose in the Moonlight Organic Cotton Batik Dress - Slight Imperfection
Red Rose in the Moonlight Organic Cotton Batik Dress
What can you say about strolling through the rose garden under the moonlight? For a moment the feeling was captured, and left an energetic imprint upon this dress. ❤︎ True story!
The dress is completely handmade with carefully chosen organic fabric. I found it well suited for festival wear. Let me be clear - an entire WEEKEND of festival wear! The fabric is spectacular. 100% pre-shrunk, medium weight, soft organic cotton knit. It has a little give, and a little bounce, but does not stretch out.
Measurements are taken laying flat, not stretched. The style is designed to stretch gently, but not stretch out. The design is reversible and can be worn front or back. There are unexpected variations in the dye, which may or may not be considered an imperfection. Alas, these are the unusual qualities that signify the handmade nature of a fiber art creation.
The sizing for this dress can be considered a Medium. The model is a size 4-6, as a reference to fit and design. With the dress laying flat, the measurements are as follows:
- 17" across the chest
- 15" across at the waist
- 23" across at the hem
- 39.5" from shoulder to the bottom hem
- neckline: 9.5" from top of shoulder to the bottom center of the Vneck
This batik can last for years, if not decades, with basic care. Avoid hand washing the dress if possible. If you must, try to extract as much water from the knit fabric as you can, and dry out in open air.
Care is super easy: machine wash and tumble dry.
