The design and color was created with my own handmade batik artwork, using pure beeswax. I paint molten wax on each piece, then dye the design in several layers of color before boiling it clean. This traditional batik process takes about a week to complete in good weather, but once finished the batik is very durable. Care is easy: Machine wash and dry.
The tank top has a nice stretch to it and is made with a lightweight cotton, which is great for layering or as a comfortable and pretty tank top on a hot summer day. Materials are 95% cotton and 5% lycra
These batiks are machine wash and dry only. Please do not hand wash them. They will not shrink, fade, or change color with proper care.
Sizing for this style is fitted, stretchy, and approximate.
