Batik Clothing / Tops / Boatneck Tee

I handpainted this design freehand in layers with hot beeswax and hand dyed the shirt in several different contrasting colors. Each step takes about a day making the whole process complete in about a week.

This batik was done on a soft and light combed cotton boatneck top by American Apparel. It's pre-shrunk - the design is permanent and the colors stay vibrant with proper care (machine wash and dry) it will not fade or bleed, and retains its shape very well.

Approximate Sizing for Boatneck tops:

Small fits 0-2, chest 30-32", waist 25-26", 15 1/2" across chest, 20 1/2" long

Medium fits 4-6, chest 34-36", waist 27-28", 17" across chest, 21" long

Large fits 8-10, chest 36-38", waist 30-32", 17 1/4" across chest, 22" long

X-Large fits 12-14, chest 40-42", waist 33-35", 20" across chest, 23" long
